Production Operative - Chilled Food Production

Location: Hessle Road, HU3
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (either 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm)
Salary: £12.21 per hour + Paid Breaks
Contract: Agency/Casual Work (40 hours per week)

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our client's team at a leading food production facility located on Hessle Road, HU3. The role involves working in a cold environment, handling frozen food products (not fresh fish), and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality items.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established company in the food industry. As a Production Operative, you'll be essential in supporting the production of frozen food products, contributing to the success of a market-leading business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working in a cold environment to ensure the smooth and safe production of frozen food products (without strong fish odors)

• Following health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

• Operating production machinery and performing quality checks

• Assisting with the packing and preparation of food products for distribution

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times

Skills & Experience:

• Previous factory or food production experience is preferred but not essential

• Ability to work in a cold environment

• Good attention to detail and a positive attitude toward teamwork

• Strong communication skills and reliability

• Flexible and able to work shifts as per the requirement
