Weighbridge Operator
On behalf of our client, we have an immediate and exciting opportunity for a Weighbridge Operator!
Located in Hull and working in the metals recycling sector, this is an excellent opportunity for ongoing work and intended to lead to permanent for the successful candidate.
Benefits:
- £12.21 per hour (can increase when permanent)
- Excellent working hours – 8am to 4.30pm, (3.30pm finish on Friday)
- 39 hours/week

Duties:
- Operating weigh-scale system weighing customer loads in and out
- Issuing both written and printed tickets
- Organising collection/drop off jobs for small team of drivers
- Some computer and electronic till duties
- Directing customers to correct areas
- Assisting in unloading small loads when required
- General Labouring in metals recycling environment
Experience required:
- Some previous weighbridge experience would be ideal
- Experience in a transport office or similar is an advantage
- Computer experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail
