Luminix Administrator
Location: Remote
Duration of contract: 3 months + (extensions expected)
IR35: Inside
Experience:
- Good understanding in Luminex CGX Hardware and Architecture
- Hands-on in MVT: Mainframe virtual tape solutions family
- Hands-on in STM: Synchronous Tape Matrix, continuous availability solution for tape operations
- Hands-on in Disaster recovery and testing
- Hands-on in performing CGX firmware upgrade
- Strong knowledge on tape studies, throughput and capacity sizing, and tape migration services
- Troubleshooting errors related to batch processing abends, analysing root causes, and deriving solutions
- Ability to perform deep analysis on hardware and software related errors and provide solutions
- Analysing, planning, and managing production control activities to improve job runtimes
- Willing to support 24*7 support, ability to manage Major Incident and handle escalation calls
