Location: Guildford, UKRate: £400 per day (Umbrella)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Building Surveyor to join a Local Authority in Guildford. The successful candidate will be responsible for the on-site monitoring, inspection, quality assurance, and compliance auditing of major housing capital contracts. These projects include kitchen and bathroom refurbishments, roof renewal programmes, and major voids.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site monitoring and inspections of ongoing projects.
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Perform detailed audits of major housing capital contracts.
- Oversee the refurbishment of kitchens and bathrooms.
- Supervise roof renewal programmes and manage major voids.
- Conduct property and dwelling inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to project specifications.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations for project improvements and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Proven experience in building surveying, with a strong focus on housing capital contracts.
- In-depth knowledge of property and dwelling inspections.
- Familiarity with QA and compliance auditing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant qualifications in building surveying or a related field.
