Job Title: Senior Planner
Location: London, Bristol
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum + car allowance and benefits
Type: Permanent (Hybrid Working: 2 days on-client site/head office, 3 days from home)

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our client's Project Controls team in Bristol or London. In this role, you will handle planning and scheduling for security, defence, and nuclear projects, ensuring compliance with NEC standards and DCMA principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update programmes for projects.
  • Ensure NEC-compliant programmes and check supply chain integrity.
  • Conduct maintenance, control, analysis, and recovery-plan activities.
  • Use planning software like Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Asta Powerproject.
  • Produce risk-adjusted programmes using Monte Carlo simulations.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in project planning and scheduling in the security, defence, or nuclear sectors.
  • Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Asta Powerproject (desirable).
  • Understanding of time risk management and risk-adjusted programmes.
  • Membership in professional bodies such as MCIOB, MAPM, or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance.
