Key Responsibilities:
- Assure compliance with environmental minimum requirements in design and construction.
- Align design and construction processes with organisational policies, environmental commitments, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide expert guidance on environmental design solutions.
- Ensure that environmental issues and constraints are integrated into project design.
- Complex Problem Solving: Ability to identify, review, and resolve complex problems by analysing data, evaluating options, and implementing consistent solutions.
- In-depth understanding of applicable UK environmental laws and relevant construction regulations, including CDM.
- Strong commercial awareness, with an understanding of cost delivery, schedule targets, and delivering integrated solutions that meet all functional requirements.
- Proven track record in managing standards, engineering, and environmental activities on large, complex major projects/programmes.
- Demonstrated ability to handle competing project, engineering, and environmental demands, while considering cost and schedule implications.
