Job Description

Financial Controller | Northwich | £60,000 - £70,000

An opportunity has arisen to join a high performing SME based in Cheshire, working closely with the Finance Director, MD and other senior stakeholders. This is a key role to oversee the day to running of the finance departments whilst also manage upwards ensuring a continuation of commercially focussed and detail information being produced in order to aid decision making at a c-suite level.

Main duties include;

Overseeing the preparation of financial statements
Producing management accounts and presenting financial reports to senior management.
Developing and managing the budget process as well as detailed cash flow forecasting.
Monitoring performance against budgets, providing variance analysis and insights.
Managing cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available for operations.
Implementing cost control measures and identifying areas for cost reduction.
Providing financial insights for strategic decision-making and advising on financial strategies.
Identifying and managing financial risks.
Managing and developing the finance team, providing training and mentorship.
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and staying updated on regulatory changes.
