Role – Inventory & Planning Manager
Location – London (Hybrid)
Salary – up to £55,000 + benefits
We are excited to partner with a fast-growth and sustainable start-up, who are revolutionising personal care, and despite only launching 2 years ago, have won numerous awards and have sold to over 250k customers! Our client are now on the lookout for an Inventory & Planning Manager to help them manage their inventory, streamline their supply chain, and ensure smooth operations as they continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities for the position of Inventory & Planning Manager -
- Measure OTIF delivery from manufacturing partners and manage POs, including raising and billing.
- Prevent inventory aging and obsolescence.
- Provide insights and forecasts to align production with market demand.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through end-of-month reports, reconciliations, and review of adjustment codes.
- Develop a clear supply chain data structure to process mine and review information for continuous improvement.
- Develop short and mid-term supply and distribution plans by monitoring sales data and stock impacts.
- Define inventory classification and relevant strategies to align with service goals.
Key Requirements for the position of Inventory & Planning Manager:
- Highly analytical with strong data manipulation skills.
- Calm under pressure and comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
- Experience in a similar role or in inventory/production planning.
- Proficient in managing inventory at both finished goods and material levels.
- A natural problem solver who asks questions to build knowledge.
- Ability to map out supply chains visually and create process flow diagrams and SOPs.
- Passion for sustainability is a plus.
- Experience using ERP systems (Unleashed would be a plus!)
