Job Description

Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer now required to work with a $100m plus manufacturing business based in RAK with a focus on EPC projects within the Energy, Petrochem, Oil and Gas, Steel Fabrication and Modular sector.

This will be based in RAK, UAE

Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer will apply your knowledge and technical expertise in engineering to design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecom (EIT) Systems for Substations, RIE's, Operator Shelter's etc. in compliance with local and national regulations, design codes and standards, and current industrial practices to meet the project objectives.

  1. Lead and manage electrical, instrumentation and Telecom section of the projects from start to completion and handover.
  2. Carry out detailed design of Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecom Systems for various projects.
  3. Develop and review detailed designs, plans, calculations, etc. as necessary for each project.
  4. Review and prepare engineering deliverables list for projects in accordance with the scope of contract and ensuring that all documentation is issued in accordance with the agreed submission schedule.
  5. Preparation of engineering calculations such as Cable Sizing Calculations / Voltage Drop Calculations / Cable Tray Sizing Calculations / Short Circuit Calculations / Lighting Design Calculations / Load Calculations etc. as required for each project.
  6. Preparation of Site Survey Reports, Installation Method Statement, Design Basis Documents etc. as necessary for each project.
  7. Design and Develop engineering designs in accordance with the project scope and provide inputs to drafting team for preparation of drawings such as EIT equipment layouts drawings, Lighting Layouts, small power Layouts, Cable Tray Layouts etc. as per the project's deliverables list.

Salary on offer will be circa 12k AED all inclusive, Open to outside of the UAE applications, Visa expenses will be covered by this company.
