Role: Credit Controller

Location: Troon

Reporting to: Financial Controller

Salary: £30,000-£33,000

Credit control is essential for a well-managed business. You'll ensure that revenue and credit owed to the company are paid promptly and accurately. Additionally, you'll assess and manage business credit risk by thoroughly vetting new customers.

What you'll do:

  • Ensure all outstanding accounts are chased appropriately
  • Work alongside the finance team assisting with queries and the collection of outstanding debts
  • Produce and complete weekly credit control reports
  • Maintain precise business records in accordance with company protocols
  • Accurately update all internal systems
  • Creating or supporting the creation of daily/weekly/monthly reports
  • Any other ad hoc duties that may be required

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Experience using Sage accounts package (or similar)
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Numerically sound
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
  • Ability to build and maintain good working relationships
  • Great team player
