Job Description
Escape Recruitment are working with their manufacturing client based in East Kilbride to recruit a CMM Operator. I am looking to speak with candidates who have at least 2 years experience working within a final inspection environment.
The role will involve working in a final inspection department alongside other quality inspectors, using calibrated mechanical measuring devices as well as using CMM measuring equipment for quality inspection of machined or manufactured products and components.
You will be responsible for:-
- Inspecting incoming materials
- Inspecting in-process production specifications
- Approving finished products
- Document Inspection
Skills & Experience
- Competent using measuring devices such as, Height gauges, Go/No-go gauges, Vernier callipers, surface roughness gauge and other hand measuring instruments
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Basic maths and computing skills
- Attention to detail & Hand/eye coordination
- Analytic, Documentation & Reporting skills
- Documentation skills
- An understanding of Engineering/CAD drawing
