Transport Planner - Days or Nights, 4 on 4 off
We seek multiple dedicated and experienced Transport Planners to join our client in Doncaster.
Opportunities are available for day or night shifts. This role requires a detail-oriented individual to manage and coordinate the logistics of our transport operations. Whether you prefer working days or nights, we offer competitive pay rates that reflect the importance of this role.
Transport Planner Shift Options and Compensation:
- Days: 4 on 4 off, £14.50 per hour.
- Nights: 4 on 4 off, £15.95 per hour.
Transport Planner Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule transport routes to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Coordinate with drivers and warehouse staff to facilitate timely deliveries.
- Monitor transport activities and proactively address any issues or delays.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of transport activities, including logs and reports.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
- Analyze and optimize transport operations to reduce costs while improving service levels.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in transport planning or logistics.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in transport management software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to transport.
