Job Title: Payroll Manager 

Location: North Wales 

Salary: £45,000 per annum

About the Role: 

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team in North Wales. This is a critical role within our organisation, overseeing the full internal end-to-end payroll process for 1,500 employees. You will ensure accurate and timely payroll management, compliance with regulations, and seamless operations using Crown and People XD systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the full payroll process for 1,500 staff, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

- Oversee and process all payroll activities, including but not limited to, tax, benefits, and deductions.

- Supervise one Payroll Administrator, providing guidance, support, and professional development.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and internal policies.

- Crown and People XD systems for payroll processing and reporting.

- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll integration and address any payroll-related queries.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar Payroll Manager role, managing large payroll operations.

- Proficiency in payroll systems, particularly Crown and People XD.

- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations.

- Excellent organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage complex payroll processes.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.

- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders.
