Step Teachers are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join a vibrant Secondary School in Norwich for a long-term position starting in September 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for a Maths Teacher who is eager to make a positive impact in a forward-thinking school community.

Maths Teacher – Role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons to students across various year groups.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the UK Mathematics curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic achievement.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and confidence in Maths.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share best practices across the Maths department.

 Maths Teacher – Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Maths Teacher at the secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK Mathematics curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and enhancing teaching practices.
