Job Description
A Reception Class Teacher position in a Primary School in Enfield are currently being filled by Step Teachers. The role is for a full-time Reception Class Teacher and will commence in September 2024, offering continuous long-term supply. The Primary School's focus is on ensuring the happiness and readiness to learn of every student. The school takes pride in it's curriculum and endeavours to deliver creative and flexible lessons tailored to the individual needs of each student. This position could alternatively be filled by two teachers, with each teacher working half a day.
Reception Class Teacher Role:
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum
- Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
- Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom, and throughout the school
- Ability to monitor, assess and report on the progress of your students
- Able to plan and deliver engaging lesson that can be adapted to the needs of the class
- Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively
Reception Class Teacher Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teaching Status
- Recent mainstream school-based experience as a Reception Class Teacher
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
- Experience working with SEND is desirable
