Exciting Opportunity: MOT Tester/Technician

Role: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Boston
Salary: £30,000 - £34,000+ DOE
Hours: 41.5 hours per week

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (with a guaranteed day off during the week)
  • Sunday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (optional, with an additional £1,507.68 annually for working every other Sunday)

Holidays: 28 days per year, including bank holidays.

As the business continues to expand, they are eager to welcome an experienced MOT Tester/Technician to their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • MOT Testing: Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA standards and accurately record results in the DVSA computer system.
  • Vehicle Services: Install company-specified products on customer vehicles and perform a range of ancillary services.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the center and its equipment clean and well-organized.
  • Sales and Promotion: Actively promote and sell the company's comprehensive range of products and services, exceeding customer expectations.
  • Professionalism: Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of customer service and professionalism.
  • Continuous Learning: Follow management guidance, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a commitment to learning new skills.
  • Presentable Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance and comply with uniform requirements.
  • Flexible Availability: Be available for work as scheduled, adapting to fluctuating demand to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Valid MOT Tester license issued by the DVSA
  • Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance qualification, City & Guilds, or equivalent
