Step Teachers are looking for a dedicated Reception Teaching Assistant that specializes in Early Years. This post is scheduled to begin immediately in September 2024. This is a long-term supply role. You will get the opportunity to work at an Ofsted-rated 'Good' Primary School in Herts, under the former Ofsted ratings for schools. This school takes pride in it's inclusive and diverse atmosphere, which promotes a child-centered approach to learning that motivates both students and teachers.
Reception Teaching Assistant - Responsibilities:
• Provide support to children within Early Years following the EYFS framework.
• As a Reception Teaching Assistant you should be able to plan and execute enriching activities to enhance student learning and development.
• Cultivate positive relationships with the Class Teacher and other staff members.
• As a Reception Teaching Assistant you should able to identify and address the additional support needs of students.
Requirements of a Reception Teaching Assistant:
• Level 3 qualification is essential.
• Previous experience in an Early Years setting within a mainstream school.
• A nurturing nature and the ability to inspire learners of all abilities.
