Resourcery Group is proud to be recruiting for a dynamic and innovative not-for-profit organisation based in the Manchester area. As their Head of Finance, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial success of this growing charity. The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Director and lead a team of both part-qualified and qualified accountants.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

Overseeing all financial operations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
Leading and managing the finance team, providing support, guidance and driving performance.
Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management and the board of directors.
Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the organisation's growth and impact.
Working closely with budget holders to ensure effective financial planning and control.
Monitoring and analysing financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial processes and systems are efficient and fit for purpose.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) with significant experience in a senior finance role within the charitiable sector
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Experience in developing and implementing financial strategies to support organisational growth.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Experience working in the not-for-profit sector is essential.
