We have a unique position for Touch Up Painter (s) to join our painting squad with our client's team in the Wallsend area.
The Touch Up Painter position is for an immediate start and likely to be until 2025 and beyond. Possible permanent opportunities available.
Working Monday to Thursday - 07:00hrs - 16:00hrs and Friday 07:00 - 15:30hrs (42 hours per week)
£17.00 per hour - For the first 38 hours worked and approved.
£22.10 per hour - In excess of 38 hours worked and approved.
£25.50 per hour - Saturday hours worked and approved.
£34.00 per hour - Sunday and Bank Holiday hours worked and approved.
The requirements of the Touch Up Painter role will be but not limited to:
- Involved in hand painting any elements required by way of 'touch up' where the final painted product may have cosmetic paint repairs needed due to product going through rotation and movement and /or transport throughout the yard during final assembly stages.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have Silver or Gold Train the Painter (TTP) or ICATS (required)
- OPITO (preferred)
Experience:
- The ideal candidates will have previous experience in painting / blasting positions
- Industrial Painting: 1 year (preferred)
