MOT Tester/ Technician
Type of the role: Full-time, permanent
Location: Lincoln
Salary: £30000- £32000+DOE
Hours: 41.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Saturday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
You’ll be given a day off within a week if you’re working on Saturday.
If you’d be working on Sunday from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm the overtime with an extra £1,507.68 (added to your yearly salary on rota basic every other week) will be paid to you.
Holidays: Holiday entitlement 28 days a year including bank holidays.

Our client is a leading UK-based independent fast-fit automotive chain that specializes in tires, MOTs, servicing, batteries, and exhausts. They operate over 130 branches across the country and are known for their competitive prices, high-quality service, and customer focus. Our client has been in business for over 50 years and has built a strong reputation for providing reliable and affordable car maintenance services to its customers. As the business grows, they are now looking to grow their team and to welcome an experienced MOT specialist on board.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards and enter the results into the DVSA computer system
• Install company-specified products on customer vehicles and perform a range of ancillary services
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the center and its equipment
• Actively promote and sell the company's comprehensive range of products and services, exceeding customer expectations and driving revenue growth
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service
• Follow instructions and guidance from management, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a commitment to learning new skills
• Maintain a presentable appearance and comply with company uniform requirements
• Be available for work as scheduled, adapting to fluctuating demand and ensuring the smooth operation of the center
***MOT Tester must hold a valid MOT Tester license issued by the DVSA***
*** Ideal candidate must hold a Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance, City Guilds, or other equivalent qualification***
