Step Teachers are searching for a passionate Art and Design Teacher to join a well-known Secondary school in Tower Hamlets for a long-term maternity cover beginning in November 2024. Art and Design Teacher – Role:
- Deliver creative and inspiring art lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities.
- Give comprehensive lessons that align with the school's curriculum and national standards.
- Providing constructive feedback to support their artistic growth.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
Art and Design Teacher – Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience as an Art Teacher in a UK-based school.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Art and Design.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with educational best practices.
