IRS are currently resourcing a dynamic Forklift Maintenance Engineer to work in the Wallsend, Tyne and Wear area. Are you ready to take your career to the next level?

• Hours of work: Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00hrs and Friday: 07:00 – 15:30hrs

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and maintaining forklifts, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
• Providing reactive maintenance for breakdowns and conducting regular plant servicing and repairs.
• Working on mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs), cranes, and other mobile plant equipment where required.
• Preparing equipment for LOLER inspections, ensuring compliance and safety.
• Any other duties that maybe required.

Are you the person our client is looking for:

• Someone with experience in a similar role.
• Preferably LOLER certified (though this is not essential)
• Qualified in forklift engineering or mobile plant maintenance.
