Under the former Ofsted-rated guidelines Step Teachers are working with a "Good"  Secondary School in Waltham Cross that are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maths Teacher to join their vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Mathematics, fostering a passion for numbers and ensuring students achieve their full potential in this dynamic subject area. 

Maths Teacher - Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards for Maths.
  • As a Maths Teacher , you will have the responsibility of instructing students in the principles and practices of Maths.
  • Assess student progress, provide feedback, and support individual learning needs.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with advancements in Maths education.

Maths Teacher - Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Level 2 (i.e. GCSE and L2 NCFE/BTEC)
  • SEN experience is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching Maths at the secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of Maths principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring students in the field of Maths.
