Finance Business Partner
Resourcery Group are working with a leading FMCG business to bring on board a commercially focused Finance Business Partner in a regional role across Liverpool and Merseyside. Your role will be to work closely with the Commercial Finance Director and senior management team to provide them up to date information in order to make commercial decisions. This is a brilliant business with an excellent reputation. Based at the Liverpool Head office the Finance Business Partner will work with Operational site leads to drive performance of a small number of branches across the region in what is a value adding role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Proactive Finance Business Partner providing support, challenge, and insight to the Branch Managers of each site within your remit
• To deliver timely, accurate & relevant financial information, analysis and commentary to key stakeholders including:
• Weekly and monthly P&L reporting
• Monthly and quarterly forecasts
• Annual budgets
• Variance analysis
• KPI’s
• Benchmarking
• Ad-hoc analysis to drive business performance
• Production and evaluation of business cases including capital expenditure proposals
• Provide commercial support to the Branch Managers focusing on understanding and explaining business performance variances and identifying risks and opportunities to enable delivery of their targets
• Develop, rigorously challenge, and question the budget/forecast assumptions and KPIs on an on-going basis, and report this to the Branch Managers and Divisional Team
• Provide insight into customer and sales team performance
• Production of the internal Monthly Reporting pack and participation in the Monthly Review Meeting
• Overall responsibility to produce the monthly Management Accounts and all central reporting working in collaboration with the central finance team
• Ensure that strong financial controls are in place across all branches
• Ensure that all company policies and statutory requirements are adhered to
• Support the Financial Controller as required through analysis and project activity
The ideal candidate will be:
• A fully qualified accountant – CIMA/ACCA/ACA
• Have prior finance business partnering skills
• Be a confident communicator
