BMS Engineer
Reading + travel along the M4 Corridor
£competitive salary + car allowance
Full-time, permanent
Specialist Contractor working with some truly innovative £multi-million projects seek multiple BMS Engineer to join their team. This business has established itself over several years to become a leader in its field, working on projects throughout the world, providing a full turnkey solution.

As BMS Engineer, you will be:
- Providing service and commissioning support to your colleagues
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting, using primarily Trend and Tridium BMS Systems
- Resolving network issues, configuring operating systems and using remote desktop connections
- Using email and phone applications, providing quick answers to simple controls issues
- As you will also be working on more complex problems, you will be providing written instructions and technical manuals
- Working with Subcontractors on site, you will help ensure projects stay on programme and to the relevant quality standards
Are you:
- Qualified in Electrical Installation or Controls Software Engineering or with the equivalent practical experience
- Experienced in a technical support role, ideally in the data centre or IT infrastructure industry, with real hands-on experience (both for resolving technical issues and system commissioning)
- Familiar with computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
- Able to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues as well as more complex problems
- Possessing good working knowledge of remote desktop applications
- A good communicator, both written and verbal, able to provide step-by-step technical help
- Experienced with Tridium AX, N4 and Trend
- Able to travel to customer sites along the M4 corridor
