Job Title: Operations Manager
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Car/Car Allowance & Package
Location: North West England
Sector: Offsite Construction
Are you an experienced operations manager with a strong background in project management, quality control, and resource management?
Do you want to join a well established specialist contractor?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic business unit where you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful delivery of multiple projects. You will coordinate project elements from design and preconstruction through to delivery, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate projects from inception to completion. Monitor several projects simultaneously, identify potential risks and challenges, and proactively implement solutions to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Lead and mentor the Site team, promoting a culture of excellence in quality and safety. Conduct regular team meetings and individual performance reviews to ensure alignment and address project-related concerns
- Implement and maintain quality control measures for all projects. Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance and address any quality issues promptly. Support site teams with quality, design, and technical issues
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and reports on project status. Ensure client needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide preconstruction input to review tender submissions for risk, scope, and margin. Advise on tender programme, sequence, and resourcing to establish and mitigate risks.

- Have a proven background in project management within the construction or related sectors.
- Possess strong leadership skills and a track record of successfully managing teams.
- Are highly organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Have a deep understanding of safety and compliance requirements.
- Hold relevant qualifications and certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS).
