Manufacturing Process Engineer, Liverpool

Scantec are recruiting for a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our clients growing Manufacturing Technology team. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting the business with the design, launch, and optimisation of both new and existing processes. You will champion the industrialisation of equipment, ensuring that all key control documentation (Process Flow, WI, PFMEA) aligns with customer needs and business requirements.

 

The job:

Develop Standard Manufacturing Methods.

Define equipment specifications for new equipment.

Lead the industrialisation process.

Manage key documentation, WI, Process Flow, PFMEA.

Modify, design, and test manufacturing methods and equipment.

Efficiency & Cost Optimisation.

OEE Improvements.

Lean Manufacturing.

Producing detailed product and process reports.

Implement and drive standardisation across the business.

 

What skills you’ll have:

 

Strong time management skills with a target-driven approach.

Ability to work effectively under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.

Proficient in using problem-solving tools and working with stakeholders to deliver solutions.

Excellent MS Office skills and ability to communicate at all levels.

Hands-on approach with keen attention to detail.

Demonstrated experience in Lean manufacturing principles.

Strong organisational and administrative abilities, with a flexible mindset.

Ability to create and deliver training materials.

 

Qualifications:

Required: A relevant Engineering degree (or equivalent industrial experience).
