About the Role:

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable educational setting that caters to students with additional needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate SEN Teacher to make a genuine difference, working with a small group of 8 students across varying age groups, each with unique educational needs.

As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons to support the individual learning journeys of each student. Your expertise will ensure that students with varying additional needs receive the guidance and support required to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities of an SEN Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for a small group of students with additional needs.
  • Support students with varying educational, social, and emotional requirements.
  • Implement individual education plans (IEPs) to ensure progress is tracked and recorded.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
  • Liaise with support staff, parents, and external professionals to foster a collaborative approach to student development.

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven experience as an SEN Teacher 
  • Understanding and knowledge of strategies to support children with additional needs.
  • Ability to teach across varying age groups and adapt lesson plans accordingly.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
