Weighbridge Operator
On behalf of our long-established, Hull-based client we have an immediate opportunity for a Weighbridge Operator.
Working in the metal & vehicle recycling sector, this is an excellent opportunity for ongoing work and intended to lead to permanent for the successful candidate.
Benefits:
- £11.44 per hour to £12.50 per hour (+ holiday pay)
- Excellent working hours – 8am to 4.30pm, (3.30pm finish on Friday)
- 39 hours/week
- Premium rate overtime when required

Duties:
- Operating weigh-scale system weighing customer loads in and out
- Issuing both written and printed tickets
- Organising collection/drop off jobs for small team of drivers
- Some computer and electronic till duties
- Directing customers to correct areas
- Assisting in unloading small loads when required
- General Labouring in metals recycling environment
Experience required:
- Some previous weighbridge experience would be ideal
- Experience in a transport office or similar is an advantage
- Computer experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail
