Job Description

Class Act Teaching Services are working with a Primary School rated 'Good' under the former Ofsted rating for schools who are looking for a HLTA in a Primary School in Oxford. The role is within an alternate provision class within a mainstream Primary School and they are looking for a HLTA to start in January. The role is full time on an ongoing supply teaching role.

This Primary School strives to provide the children of the community it is located in with high quality education while supporting the emotional wellbeing of every child. Under the former Ofsted ratings for schools, this Primary School was rated ‘Good’.

HLTA Role:

  • Able to support the delivery and planning of the curriculum following the EHCP's
  • Upkeep a tidy and organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
  • Work effectively with other members of staff in the classroom and throughout the school
  • Ability to support students and encourage their progression
  • Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

HLTA Requirements:

  • Recent experience working in a Primary School is essential
  • A good knowledge of the curriculum
  • A recognised HLTA qualification and/or relevant experience at this level
  • SEND experience is desirable
