Are you a SEN Nursery Teacher who is certified and eager to find a new opportunity? Step Teachers are working together with a Nursery school in Brent to recruit an experienced SEN Nursery Teacher who can join their team in November 2024 for a supply position. This position offers the chance to work alongside a group of committed professionals who are passionate about ensuring the educational success and future prospects of children. Please note, this position is designated as an ARP role, and the chosen candidate will be responsible for supporting 10 students in an educational environment. SEN Nursery Teacher - Role:

  • Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
  • Maintain a well-organized classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, assisting with their educational and personal development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to implement tailored support plans for students with SEN.
  • Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.

SEN Nursery Teacher - Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years curriculum.
  • Have recent experience as a Nursery Teacher in a primary or preschool setting with SEN.
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
  • Experience working with SEND is essential.
