Position: Humanities Teacher
Location: Mile End, London

Are you a passionate and experienced Humanities Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a dynamic educational environment? Step Teachers are seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a previously "Good" rated school under the former OFSTED rating in London, starting ASAP on a full-time basis. This school is known for its collaborative vision and high expectations for both students and staff.
Humanities Teacher – Role:
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the Humanities curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Maintain an organised and professional classroom environment, ensuring all resources are readily available.
- Collaborate effectively with other staff members within the department and throughout the school.
- Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Adhere to and implement the school’s policies consistently and effectively.
Humanities Teacher – Requirements:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in Secondary schools.
- Have recent experience as a Humanities Teacher in a mainstream school setting - KS3 Geography and KS4 History.
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
