Food & Beverage Manager
Luxury Boutique Hotel - Cornwall

JWR is currently working with a top luxury boutique hotel in a stunning part of Cornwall, looking to recruit an experienced, passionate, service oriented and hands on Restaurant/F&B Manager.

As Restaurant/F&B Manager, reporting directly to the General Manager & Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of an award-winning fine dining restaurant and supporting with a more relaxed waterside brasserie.

As Restaurant Manager/F&B Manager, you will already be experienced in a similar style and sized operation and looking to progress your career. You will ensure that the highest of standards and service are met, and that your team are trained, developed and motivated by your example to do the same.

As Restaurant/F&B Manger you will have a solid understanding of budgets and GP's and able to maximise all sales opportunities while controlling costs

Required skills & experience:

  • Previous experience within a similar sized property.
  • Recruit, motivate, train, develop and inspire your team.
  • The highest attention to detail
  • Thrive under pressure in an unpredictable environment
  • Hands on approach with a passion for service
  • Pro-active and good at problem solving, with the ability to manage staff ratios and deliver consistent standards.
  • Demonstrate an extremely high capability of planning, directing and executing
  • Continually drive forward improvements in products and services.
  • Ensures the departmental budgeted revenues and profits are achieved within the Bar and Restaurant,
  • To monitor all departmental costs and recommend appropriate measures to control them, providing detailed sales, wages and cost forecasts
  • To be responsible for all F&B stocktaking, producing detailed results, creating action plans as required.
  • Take full responsibility for all H&S, legal aspects and training within the department.
  • To monitor service and f&b quality standards and to work with the team to take corrective action where necessary.
