An Award-Winning and independent housebuilder are looking to appoint a Development Engineer to join and work with a well respected and experienced Engineering Manager who is extremely well thought of in the industry and a very nice person to boot. This person is returning to the business that they’ve spent plenty of time at in the past, so in effect this is a new slate for both of you to develop and put in some new ideas for the role of Pre-Development Engineer.
Based around the Chester area with sites in and around the North Wales and West Cheshire (with the odd one elsewhere), you’ll be joining a family company who have been established for a near 100 years and have a reputation for excellent staff retention. A candidate I placed there 3 years ago reiterated in a conversation last week what a good company they are to work for, too.
Additionally, they’ve recently hit the headlines for promoting many of their staff into higher positions which I think was a great move fostering company morale in what’s still quite uncertain times in the housebuild world. What more proof would you need that progression is a real possibility in this business?

First of all, you’ll get a competitive salary which is negotiable within the £50,000’s and upto a certain point for the right man or woman – it really does depend on your experience, personality and how you’d fit (and how the business fits for you).

This is in addition to 26 days holiday, your salary plus car/car allowance (6k) and 26 days holiday.
