Our client, a respected statutory body, is seeking a skilled Calculations Developer to join their pension administration team. In this contract role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the financial well-being of retired clergy and their dependants.
Position Overview
The Calculations Developer will lead the maintenance, design, and development of scheme calculations within the pension administration system, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of benefits for members.
Responsibilities
* Lead maintenance, design, and development of scheme calculations
* Assist with design and development of system calculations
* Plan and deliver continuous program of calculation development
* Maintain technical specifications for benefit calculations
* Implement system changes to support calculation amendments
Requirements
* Significant experience with database and workflow management applications
* Proficiency with Microsoft SQL
* Experience with W2, JavaScript, C++, or C#
* Logical and highly numerate
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Desirable: UK pensions experience, modern pension administration systems experience, project management experience, computer science degree or similar qualification
