Production Yard Coordinator - Huddersfield

- Basic Salary: £37,440 (£16ph) plus overtime rate.
- 45 Contracted hours per week

For this role you will be:
- Coordinating inbound and outbound deliveries
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment within the yard
- Reporting, in an auditable and transparent process any vehicle damage, onsite or on delivery of goods
- Keep the forklift truck in excellent working order.
- Conduct / follow regular stock counting protocols.
- Facilitate vehicles for Marketing Photoshoots – wash and prep.
- Perform perimeter walk and report any evidence of abnormal activities
- Following the Production plan to ensure all chassis are ready and immediately available/ suitable for the relevant production process to work on.
- Ensure all chassis are maintained, identifiable (service no / stock no/ QC’d) and specifically located in the space around the production areas.
- Material handling / receive deliveries which would require a FLT licence
- Ensure battery maintenance is adhered to from suppliers’ duty of care recommendations.
- Receive / report / check and locate all inbound vehicle traffic.
- Record /report / check all outbound vehicle traffic.
- Adhere to current health and safety legislation to ensure a safe working environment
- FLT Licence Counterbalance
- Experience within the HGV industry
- Class 1 HGV • A Mechanical background (desired)
- IOSH qualification (desired)
- Enthusiastic nature
- Attention detail.
- Be able to work in a busy environment.
- Multitasking with the ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload effectively.
- Be able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
- Basic salary of up to £37.440.
- Optional overtime paid at 1.5x.
