Are you a qualified Science teacher looking for your next teaching role from January 2025? A high achieving all girls’ school in Wandsworth, Southwest London are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, committed, and inspiring Teacher of Science to join them from January 2025 until the end of the academic year in July 2025.  The Science Teacher would be required to teach biology, chemistry and physics at all key stages and ideally will have the ability to teach biology at KS5. 

Science Teacher – Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in Science.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and considerate classroom environment.
  • Mentor and inspire students, fostering a passion for learning.
  • The Science Teacher must build and cultivate positive relationships with students, encouraging good behaviour and engagement.
  • Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and support staff.
  • Adhere to and implement the school's policies and contribute to their supportive educational ethos.

Science Teacher – Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
  • Recent experience as a Science Teacher in a mainstream school setting.
  • A relevant Science degree is desirable.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Enhanced DBS.
