Position Overview
As a Conveyancing Fee Earner, you will play a crucial role in handling a wide range of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity for both leasehold and freehold properties. Your expertise will ensure that clients receive a personalised service tailored to their individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessments in line with policies
- Check and report on property titles to clients
- Raise and respond to enquiries on purchases
- Identify and report potential risks to clients, lenders, and agents
- Monitor and supervise work carried out by team members
- Ensure compliance with lender requirements and special conditions
- Obtain necessary documentation for timely property registration
- Sign off files for exchange and completion, ensuring compliance
- Ensure accurate billing and completion statements
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations and best practices
- Excellent client care skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Highly organised with the capacity to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines
