Senior HGV Technician / Workshop Controller
The successful Senior HGV Technician / Workshop Controller/ HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £45,000 with OTE of circa £55,000 with 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, AM and PM shifts available and Weekend availability as required
Our Client is looking for a Senior HGV Technician / Workshop Controller/ HGV Fitter to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

Our Client is looking for a Senior HGV Technician / Workshop Controller/ HGV Fitter to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.
Typical Duties of a Senior HGV Technician / Workshop Controller for our client include, but are not limited to:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles and trailers to DVSA standards.
- Diagnose and rectify all types of vehicle and trailer faults.
- Attend breakdowns to support vehicles at the roadside or customer premises.
- Ensure health and safety regulations and safe working practices are strictly adhered to.
- Coordinate the workshop’s daily operations, ensuring tasks are efficiently managed and completed to high standards.
- Level 3 HGV Technician qualification.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in HGV maintenance (preferred).
- HGV Driving Licence (desirable but not essential).
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership capabilities and the ability to manage workflow effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining safety and compliance standards.
