Are you a Structural Engineer with expertise in timber and steel structures?
Keen to hit the ground running with for a new challenge working for an innovative company in the off-site construction sector?

We are working with a leading contractor, who specialise in Structurally Insulated Panels. They are looking for a Structural Engineer who is looking to grow within their company, this is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and play a crucial part in delivering high-quality, sustainable construction solutions.

As a Structural Engineer you will be:

  • Designing and analysing structural steel and timber systems
  • Carrying out feasibility studies and site inspections, assessing structural integrity
  • Collaborating with a range of stakeholders to develop design concepts
  • Preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and standards
  • Performing calculations and simulations to evaluate load-bearing capacities


We are looking for:

  • Qualified degree level in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • Proven experience as a Structural Engineer with expertise primarily in steel concrete and timber structures
  • Good knowledge of British standards and/or Eurocodes
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Professional accreditation with IStructE or ICE would be of particular benefit
