Automotive Production Manager - York
  • Salary up to £55,000

Our client is a specialist vehicle manufacturer who are looking to add an experienced Production Manager to their team as the company continues to grow. This is a really exciting project producing specialist vehicles. Our client is backed by a large group, giving this role great job security. Production Management experience is essential, preferably from the automotive industry.

Responsibilities of this Automotive Production Manager role
  • Oversee and lead production operations, making sure timescales and standards are met.
  • Guide and develop a team of technicians and fitters.
  • Improve efficiency in processes where possible.
  • Manage resources and efficiently without compromising product quality.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are enforced and industry standards are complied with.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Supply Chain teams.
Requirements of this Automotive Production Manager role
  • A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or similar field.
  • Production Management experience in the automotive industry.
  • ERP / MRP systems expertise.
  • Lean manufacturing experience.
  • Excellent leadership, management and communication skills.
