HGV Technician / HGV Fitter
  • Salary circa £40,000 to £48,000 p.a. dependent on experience.
  • Monday to Friday 6.00am to 2.30pm and 1.30pm to 10.00pm on a weekly rotating shift pattern.
  • Every other Saturday is worked 7.00am to 12.00pm paid at time and a half.
  • Excellent rates of pay based on experience and qualifications, plus shift allowance.
  • 28 Days Holiday including bank holidays.

We are currently seeking a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Commercial Repair Centre based in the Basildon area.

The successful HGV Technician / HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £48,000 with OTE of circa £55,000 with working hours of Monday to Friday 6.00am to 2.30pm and 1.30pm to 10.00pm on a weekly rotating shift pattern.

Our Client is looking for a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

Typical Duties of a HGV Technician for our client include, but are not limited to:
  • Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
  • Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
  • Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
  • Completion of MOT preparation
Requirements of this HGV Technician vacancy:
  • Previous working experience within the role
  • Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge
  • A Class 1 Licence may be beneficial to your application
