Art Teacher

Step Teachers are working with a school that are seeking a dedicated and skilled teacher to join their team in Haringey from January 2025 to April 2025, with the potential for an extension. As an Art Teacher, you will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons to students up to KS4, fostering their artistic talents and supporting their academic growth. Your role will involve planning and delivering a creative curriculum, assessing students’ progress, and cultivating an environment where every learner feels encouraged to explore and excel.

Key Responsibilities-Art Teacher:

• Deliver exceptional teaching of Art up to KS4, tailoring lessons to inspire a diverse range of learners.
• Develop and implement innovative lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
• Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes creativity and collaboration.
• Engage actively in the school community, contributing to extracurricular and enrichment activities.

Requirements-Art Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Proven experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4 levels.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the arts.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to nurturing creativity and achieving high standards of learning.
