Automotive Parts Buyer - York - Part Time

Our client is an automotive manufacturer undertaking an exciting project with the backing of a large group. As the company continues to grow our client is looking to add an experienced Buyer to their team to look after procurement of components and materials. This is a part time role with flexibility in hours between 15-20 hours per week.

Responsibilities of this Automotive Parts Buyer role
  • Find suppliers and act as a point of contact between them and the company.
  • Manage stock and purchasing, using internal database.
  • Work with production and engineering teams to synchronise purchasing with production.
  • Manage supply chain, dealing with deliveries and disruptions.
Automotive Parts Buyer Requirements
  • Automotive Buyer / Procurement experience essential.
  • Supply chain management experience desirable.
  • Capable using computer systems.
  • Filemaker experience desirable.
  • Excellent collaboration and organisation skills.
