Key Account Manager – Logistics (FMCG)

Office setup: Hybrid + Field sales and UK travel

Salary: £48,000 - £52,000 + Car Allowance + Yearly Bonus

As a Key Account Manager, you will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with their largest and most important customers. You’ll also work on finding and converting new leads and prospects. You'll be part of a dynamic and ambitious team, which includes three account managers and two key account managers.

 

What are your responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure long-term partnerships and continuous contract renewal.
  • Create and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales and growth targets.
  • Analyse key commercial performances, revenue and KPIs to define growth plans for each of your accounts.  
  • Convert new business opportunities by identifying new markets and growth areas.

 

What is your skill set:

  • Mandatory: 5+ years of experience in an Account Management role within Logistics, covering the FMCG sector.
  • Essential experience and knowledge in Logistics and Distribution industries.
  • Proficiency and knowledge of MS Office, CRM and PowerBi
  • Track record of delivering excellent results – including new business wins, account retention and contract renewal.  
  • Commercially minded, highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
