Role: Head of Commercial Contracts and Pricing

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + £10k Car Allowance + Bonus  + Great Benefits

Location: Coventry/Hybrid: 2 Days WFH

This business provides critical products to global manufacturers and producers for major Retail/FMCG markets across Europe. Their products allow for the frictionless movement of goods, whilst also providing an environmentally conscious solution to support their overarching supply chain.

This is a fantastic, people focused, entrepreneurial organisation with offices worldwide. They have had sustained and significant growth of up to 20% YoY. It’s an incredible time to join as they embark on their Supply Chain & logistics transformation looking to develop their central Logistics Network, Supply Chain and global processes.

You'll lead the commercial contract and pricing team focused on the strategic development of the commercial division, responsible for internal processes, contract management and pricing. We're looking for a solution-oriented individual with strong leadership, influencing and negotiation skills.

What will the role entail?

  • Ownership of the commercial contract, process and pricing strategy. Leading a diverse and passionate team.
  • A high profile role where you will work closely with both business development and operation/execution teams to deliver commercial framework and solutions for customers
  • Working in tandem with European counterparts to review best practices and share ways of working
  • Continuous focus on reviewing processes, systems and opportunities identifying gaps for improvement
  • Critical stakeholder in new product launches, responsible for pricing and profitability analysis for these.

Ideally we are looking for someone who;

  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills able to navigate complex stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent Commercial framework experience with deep knowledge of contract management and pricing
  • A strong people leader, leading through coaching and mentorship with a growth mindset
  • Track record in developing systems and processes
  • Background a heavily operational environment i.e. 3PL or retail would be beneficial but not necessary.
