Are you an experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant seeking a fulfilling role in early childhood education? Step Teachers are working with a Childrens' Centre in Islington to find a dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term supply basis, starting as soon as possible. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in contributing to an Early Years environment that promotes variety, warmth and fun! The nursery is ideally looking for someone flexible, who would be available for work 4-5 days per week.

Nursery Teaching Assistant - Role:

  • Make a positive impact within the classroom, supporting children's learning and development.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and provide pastoral support to children when required, fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing feedback on children's progress and achievements and fostering positive partnerships.

Nursery Teaching Assistant - Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as an Nursery Teaching Assistant
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support children's learning and well-being.
  • Level 3 Early Years qualification preferred but not essential
