Our client, one of the historic Companies of the City of London, is looking for a Personal Assistant to support the Clerk and Master. This is a unique chance to work within a respected institution, providing essential support and ensuring the smooth operation of high-level activities.

THE ROLE:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diary Management: Efficiently manage the diaries of the Clerk and Master, prepare weekly schedules, handle invitations, and arrange travel and accommodation.
  • Event Coordination: Oversee the events page on the Company website, send invitations, maintain guest lists, and coordinate menus and place cards for Company events.
  • Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for the Clerk’s office, manage correspondence, and foster strong working relationships with Company members and external stakeholders.
  • Office Administration: Handle expense claims, maintain stationery supplies, provide general administrative support, and organise staff meetings.
  • Variety and Challenge: Engage in a diverse range of tasks, from diary management to organising high-profile events, ensuring no two days are the same.
  • Professional Growth: Develop your skills in a supportive environment, interacting with senior members, and external stakeholders.

THE PERSON:

Skills and Experience Required:
  • Organisational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact courteously and professionally.
  • Event Management: Experience in organising events and managing guest lists.
  • IT Proficiency: Competence in using office software and maintaining records.
  • Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
