Interim Financial Controller
Job Location: Flintshire, North Wales
Job Type: Contract (Full-Time) - 6 months with the potential to become permanent
Resourcery Group are working with a private equity backed manufacturing business who are undergoing a period of change. Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the accounting function and providing the senior leadership team with up to date insights on business performance. This role offers hybrid working and is site based 2-3 days per week.
The Interim Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company during the contract period.
Key Duties:
- Management reporting and analysis including KPIs
- Monitoring daily cash flow and working capital
- Preparing budgets and financial forecasts on an annual and monthly basis
- Statutory reporting and audit liaison
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and delivering efficiencies across the business
- Leading the accounting function
- Managing supplier relationships
- Ad hoc reporting to the PE owners
Required Qualifications:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
The preferred candidate:
- A fully qualified accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACA
- Have strong cash management skills
- Have worked in manufacturing or related industries previously
