Job Description

Bodyshop Prepper and Polisher required in Chelmsford, Essex.
  • Salary Circa: Up to £18 per hour.
  • Bonus opportunity on top around £3,500 p.a.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1 hour for lunch).
  • Contract: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • No Weekends Worked!
Our client is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Bodyshop Prepper and Polisher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for car bodywork and finishing, who enjoys working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities of this Bodyshop Prepper and Polisher role include:
  • Preparing vehicles for paint by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas.
  • Polishing and finishing vehicles to a high standard.
  • Assisting with the overall bodywork process, ensuring quality control at all stages.
  • Working with the team to ensure vehicles are ready for delivery on time.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
Prepper / Polisher Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Bodyshop preparation and polishing.
  • A keen eye for detail and high-quality finishes.
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Must have your own tools and be fully qualified to work in an Automotive Bodyshop environment.
